ABO operates two coastal island stations: Pon Portage and Seal Island. ~ Both islands are well known for the vagrants they attract, including Prothonotary Warbler, Cerulean Warbler, Worm-eating Warbler, Lark Sparrow and Grasshopper Sparrow ~ ABO bands 2500 to 3500 birds each year, usually comprising about 85 different species. Over 180 different species have been observed at the stations. |
