~ABO is the northernmost migration station in North Amer-ica, where over 35,000 birds of 64 species have been band-ed.
~The vast and relatively pristine state of Alaska supports the breeding season activities of a diverse avifauna at the north-west extreme of their range.
~ABO's educational programs drew more than 5,000 participants in 999. The programs include bird idenulicanon and feeding, an ornithology camp for youth, and student internships.
