Last year, the Sanctuary recorded a record 171 bald eagles; its highest number ever. Hawk Mountain also boasts the largest hawk migration count in North America. ~ The Sanctuary offers an internship program, bringing five interns each fall and five each spring to help conduct mon-itoring, research and education; about half of the interns are international. |
